Long Distance Series Constant Power Electric Heat Tracing Cable is a new type of electric tracing products, compared with other electric tracing cables, its biggest characteristic is long service length with 5~12 times longer than the maximum service length of the general-purpose constant power and self-limiting temperature electric tracing cable. So it is especially applicable on long distance transportation pipeline of petroleum, chemical, power, wharf, etc., large trough pool, antifreeze, heat trace and temperature protection for big tank or pool. Supported with other explosion-proof accessories, it can be used for type Ⅱ anti explosive gas use occasions.

4. Working principle
According to Joule's law, the electric conductor is forming a continuous, uniform heating electric heat tracing belt through which the current constantly releases energy.
5. Structure:
Type A structure is composed of three independent electric tracing bands of the same power and length.
Type B structure consists of three electric tracing bands which are mutually insulated and combined in parallel.
The insulation sheath and outer insulation sheath of this series electric tracer are F46 or F4. The heating core is a special heating material. The heating core is reinforced with copper braided outer sheath and inner insulation sheath.
